My grandfather was the head architect for the city of Chicago, his drive, passion, and hard worker mentality led to my father and uncles building a commercial construction company from the ground up. I spent my childhood surrounded by hammers and other various tools, learning from them about the importance of hard work paying off. As an adult I focused on a career in land development and construction, with a shifted focus on working with slabs and turning them into crafted pieces. Timberwolf was then created as a passion for woodworking, using slabs and hardwood lumber to create hand-crafted one of a kind pieces for commercial and residential spaces.

I have always been passionate about design, interior design, natural elements and a lover of the outdoors. After leaving my job as a Special Education Teacher, I pursued creating Timberwolf with my husband Mike, who worked several years as a land developer, removing trees that ultimately turned into mulch. After late night discussions on wasted tree removal, a vision for creating a new purpose in these trees inspired us to create Timberwolf. Watching a tree turn from a beautiful living piece of nature into a piece of functional art is amazing.

I have worked over ten years of experience working in lumber yards and love all things wood. For the last 3 years I have been woodworking created custom one of a kind piece for customers. Every day I look forward to creating and learning something new. I am working my dream job right now so all I can say is “life is good”!
